Return Policy

  • Return new, unused items to MotoTriad within 30 days of receipt and receive a full refund for the item, shipping will not be refunded.
  • For items returned for refund after 30 days of receipt of your item, there will be a restocking charge. The restock fee is $10.00 or 15%, whichever is higher.
  • You must get prior authorization before returning any item, regardless of reason. Please contact MotoTriad to request a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).
  • Used items are not eligible to be returned.
  • Returns must include all tags, packaging and be shipped in a sturdy shipping box. Do not use the manufacturer box as the shipping box. Items received that do not meet these criteria will not be accepted and will be sent back to you.
  • Unused items that are returned with missing or damaged packaging, tags or components may be returned to the customer or subject to an additional processing fee of up to 25% of the merchandise cost based on the availability of those missing or damaged components.
  • Any products returned for refund or exchange must be in new condition in the original packaging. Parts that have been installed (or damaged while attempting to install) and/or used in any manner will not be accepted for return. BE SURE THE PART YOU ORDER IS FOR YOUR SPECIFIC VEHICLE. Please be aware of this policy before beginning installation of any model specific part.
  • Defective parts or parts sent to you in error will be exchanged or refunded in full. Other warranty and exclusions apply.
  • Any Tool or Chemical that has been opened or seal broken is non-returnable.
  • All electronic items are non-returnable.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable. Costs associated with international shipping, duties, taxes or brokerage fees are non-refundable. Items which have been used or installed on your bike will not be accepted for refund.
  • All return shipments must be prepaid. COD shipments will be rejected.
  • Once your return is received and inspected by MotoTriad (usually within 24 hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to be posted to your account.

Return label/Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

  • Call MotoTriad and we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
  • A RMA is required for return of any product.
  • RMA numbers are valid for 14 days after issuance.
  • After you receive your RMA, please ship the item(s) immediately.
  • MotoTriad cannot accept returned merchandise without an RMA. The RMA number should be written on the shipping label or clearly visible on the shipping box.

Return shipping

  • Package the returned items properly. When shipping merchandise back to us please wrap the items, place in a sturdy box, and secure with tape. Do not leave items loose in the box. Parts that are scratched or damaged during shipment due to inadequate packaging will not be accepted.
    1. For customers in the contiguous 48 U.S. States, MotoTriad provides the option of printing out a pre-paid UPS shipping label for your convenience. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your credit or refund. $7.99 for packages up to 20lbs or $12.99 for packages over 20lbs and/or oversized merchandise. We reserve the right to refuse any exceptions. For defective parts or ones sent in error, return shipping charges will be refunded in full.
      1. For customers in any location, you have the option of using the carrier of your choice to return your order to us. We recommend shipping with a method which includes tracking and insurance for your return shipment.  
      2. We cannot accept returns on special ordered or as-is parts.

      Defective Parts

      • To report a product defect, warranty claim or if the wrong item was received, please contact customer service and we will help resolve any problems.
      • MotoTriad cannot warrant an item that has been improperly used or physically damaged.
      • Defective items will be replaced. If no replacement unit available within 14 days, we will issue a refund.
      • Customer MUST CAREFULLY PACK defective items being returned, as if they were new and working. FAILURE TO DO SO may invalidate both the RMA and the warranty.

      International returns

      • International shipments should be marked as a "Merchandise Return" with a carrier that does not levy brokerage fees. Customer is responsible for any applicable brokerage or customs charges.
      • Any items shipped COD or having additional brokerage fees that are charged to MotoTriad upon delivery will be rejected.
